Glad to see the board is still on the water ! we'll try and arrange availability for everyone !

When it's over with UK, I need to get it back to customize it and send it for an other tour ! let me know when everyone has had a try on it in UK, then we find someone for the transport...

i reckon im the sort that this is aimed at, not got on any kind of skate in the past (except a skateboard) so pretty clueless

anyway, it rode SICK nd so much fun. even just ollieing it is satisfying. stoked i managed a shuv it 2nd attempt

my mate tim is still keen to get out on this and id like to hit some kickers if poss so well see how it goes in the warmer weather next couple of weekends. well be down in cambridge, probably riding hunstanton, so if anyone is that way, just let me know

this shit is harder than it looks - i dont think ill ever watch a kite/wakeskate video the same again

Hey! that's cool to see the board goes out even in winter time! keep it up, send us pics if you can! and yeah, things like shoves, BS 180 are super easy to learn, but, then, when it comes to flips, big ollies and grabs, there's lots of homework...

I broke a finger in a backmobe a few day ago... got some time to kill with 2 fingers typing like mad on the keyboard... what about collecting everything the board has been experiencing, and do some blog or anything to stock everything ? (keeping this topic of course, and adding a big link and/or banner shit towards the scoop and everything )

what d'you guys think about that ?

lost again?haha! is there a UK guy who goes to the "slider party" in South France (May) ? ( would be a good opportunity to send it there, and someone would grab it and sent it to me )

come on , keep us updated !

I saw this photo of it up in Uist got posted on facebook yesterday, I'll make sure Sam sees this cause I'm pretty sure the Cambridge boys have still got it after their road trip. Either that or Ally has it, I'll find out

Aye! glad to see it go to the Orkneys ! I've been to Thurso for surftrips several times, but didn't do the Orkneys! damn! that bloody plastic plank will have been everywhere I dreamed !

After i get it back in my hands, the board will look way different ( but still be the same core )

keep it up ! send us plenty pics too !

Hey Barracuda,

Would it be possible to get some overall dimensions on your skate? I would be stoked, if you would be down with it, to try building one myself. Just wanting to try one out at some local spots and see how it works. Your Gypsy project was straight up gangster and stoked to hear that the skate has made it to so many spots. Let me know if it would be alright with you if I build one myself.

It's fucking good to see people ready to copy the board. You'll find out how to by just reading the post dude !! ( including dimensions ).

note that the board is pretty big for a sk8. you may do adjustments according to your special needs. + I advise you use wood for a heavy core... enjoy !

announcement for UK troopers:

I got some fresh news about the board ( THX Ally! ), and if there are still a few troopers keen to ride it, let me know / or if someone's going to Bretagne in France and can bring it to me, or just send it to any trooper in France, you're welcome !

cheers

Thanks for the post. I got seven months off coming up, so I figured I would give it a shot. I'll check out the posts and make some adjustments for sure. Don't want to make an exact replica or anything. Just super stoked on your idea. I'll post some pics of the progress for you all to check it out and let me know what you all think. Keep up the awesome work and wish all the troopers the best of luck.
