Whats the deal on the new '12' kites?? Got a few demo days in uk coming up must mean the realise is soon (maybe), been on envy's this year, there good! Was on the hifi's before that they were sickkk! Dont know which way to go now tho?!

I keep seeing tons of view from people on envys, not sure what's up with that. But I have the 2011 envys, 12 and 9 and they're everything I want for progression. Definitely give em a try if you can, they're a lot of fun and supposedly the 2012s are even better

Yeah i got the 2011 envys to 7,9,12, there defo sweet kites and so easy to progress on! Just i remember riding my old '10' hifi's and woundering if the new nivana's gonna be like them,
Also if i get nivana's probs gotta get 4 kites 7.9.11.13 witch sucks!
Envys only 3 again!
Its a no brainer really but i just wounder what i might be missing out on!

I got the new Nirvana, but I messed my kbees up in the cables 6 weeks ago, so I can't try them for the next teo weeks

They are just laying around at the house right now

The knee is slowly getting better. I've sonehow twisted me knee in the cables and sprained the medial ligament on my right knee. 2 more weeks and I'm back on the water. Then I'll give my 5 cents on the Nirvana

You should check out kiteboardingexercises.com I hear they have great exercises for rehabbing your knees on there

Haha, that site is a load of crap, I hear Don't worry, I'm doing my exercises, but a messed up ligaments takes time no matter what... :/

Anyone has flown nirvanas? and can compare to fuel/torch/vegas ? Some more info woudl be great .... hard to get a demo around my place.

I'm injury free, but now we got too much ice to be kiteboarding I've had Nirvanas for 4-5 months now and only flew them 3 times, so I can't say anything really clever about them. They relaunch a little easier than Hifi, but they are not as easy to ride. They are 100% c kites eith lots of depower. The SLE feel from the Hifi is gone, but they traded that for more slack, if you get the pop right. You need to pop really fast after hooking out to get a great pop and that gives you great slack. I find it a lot more tricky to ride than my hifis, but then again. I only tried then 3 times in shitty conditions.

Yeah, having to pop just right after unhooking i prolly due to high AR, just like vegas (would be fun to check some tech info on nirvanas.. like AR, projectile area etc.). Have you tried it on the 'wake' set-up? Do you still have to pop very quick or do can you ride a bit unhooked and pop a sec later...

I don't know about the different settings yet. Haven't had enough time on them to play with it. But next time I'll try it sure. The ice is starting to go away here, so hopefully I can get out on the water soon again
