I have finally reached a level at wich I think I can show myself on boots, but I have no idea wich ones I should buy.

If size does matter: 1.88 92KG's size 12+

I want to use them on my 2010 cabrinha custom, not sure if every pair will fit on them right?
and want to use this combination for riding with kites and cable.

I think Im gonna start off with a cheaper open toe- pair, but I have no idea what the differences are.

Could you guys recommend me a pair and a place where I can get them for cheap (live in the netherlands, am now in NZ)

cheers.

by previous years (no older than 2009, not used) ronix one or cell from ebay or buywake.com

if you have super sensitive toes or want to share the boots with others then go with open toe, otherwise stick to ones or cells

Fuck Rad's. I have 2012's and they are trashed. Laces all broken, insides stretched out. Insert doesn't fit flush... lots of problems. And if your a size 9 1/2 go up to 10.

Been riding them for 3 months

Got some 2012 LF cradles as my first boots, loving them. super easy to get in and out of and really nice support and flex, couldnt ask for more really. don't know if ill ever go to laced bindings, the velcro is so convenient.

I think it's acceptable that boots last about a year (laces more often) with medium heavy use, wakeboarders don't have as long sessions anyway and the stress we put them through is considerable

I'm pretty sure all manufacturer's stitched boots last roughly as long, ronix just gets more shit since they're the most popular. Some boots have bad design choices of course which make them break quicker, like 2010 franks whose metal lace loops rusted, broke off and ate up laces in record pace.

I'll stick with ronix now since they're the most comfortable, and go for the cells since they go soft slower than others

if my boots lasted 6 months that would be longer than they ever have. usually its base plates bending or tearing shit.

thanks for the input guys!
im looking at some hyperlite remix bindings now, since I can get them in a good deal with a wakeboard(live near a cablepark and want to spare my kiteboard the obstacles)
anyone experience with these?

I also see cheap CWB's everywhere, but they look a bit cheap too, guess they arent as comfy/solid as other brands?

I saw some good deals on liquid force boots on real kiteboarding's website. I believe they were in the $150 range
