Hi all :)

I'm new here, i ride in holland ans i want starting wakestyle in boots :).
I ride with Combat 11M Vegas 9m ans Vegas 7m. I kite since two years, i only can do basic unhoock pop / railley nothing more unhooked.

Is it accessible to ride with boots ? I mean is it more difficult to go up wind ? Freerinding is also possible when i'm bored or not ? My spot isn't always flat (brouwersdam) i have time to time wave / choppy water so riding with boots is still good in those conditions ? (no money for 2 boards).

Wich model is good and not too expensive (between 200€ - 300€) ?
My board is a NorhTeam serie 133x41, is it a good size for boots or too small ?

Thx in advance and sorry for my badass english i'm french xD.

i started riding boots when my best trick was going upwind and threw my first back rolls and raleys in them... had to relearn how to do it in straps without feeling like my board was going to fly off lol

ive ridden flat water for a total of about 30 minutes total, my local spot is choppy messy waves. sometimes it is too sloppy or too onshore so wearing boots would suck, so these sessions i ride straps. you can still have fun in boots but its definitely not the best for all conditions, sometimes the rocker is annoying when going over tons of big (1m) chop because it slows you down

but overall it lets me have way more fun 90% of the time

i wear liquid force cradles, just because they are so easy to get on and off and are very comfortable. i prefer the velcro because with the chop and sometimes weird wind you sometimes end up downwind, and it's easy to take the velcro off and walk upwind

Wich spacing are Slingshoot / Ronix boots ? They are compatible with 6.5 insert spacing or they need also an extender ?

Thx.
