if someone compared me to shaun white, i would beat the shit out of him. that was not a very good compliment. although it is kinda accurate though. both of them are gay and compromise style to win comps.

I kinda thought the same kite4life but it's not Youris fault, just that guy talking smack haha. I reckon Youri does some pretty sick stuff. He did a fs7 in Thailand after the comp that was pretty sick, going flat out to. In the end I can't really hate on people for riding dangly in comps if that is what wins the comp, I mean money is money, I get it.

As much as I love to hate on Shaun White at this point in his career he is basically impossible to hate on, except for those gay ass pants he wore at the x games. He is by far the best halfpipe rider in the world, and his style is actually pretty decent in the pipe when compared to some of the other people he is riding against. He is no doubt one of the best individuals on the planet when it comes to riding a board, something Youri Zoon is far from.

Dude, shaun is gayer than straps. just a cocky pipe jock that spends all his time in his private pipe. no wonder hes better than anyone else. he didnt even let other people come hit his pipe because he wanted tricks that nobody else could do. i think he has forgot what boardsports is all about, and if you cant hate on that, maybe you have as well.

also, his bc and slope game is lacking. he is by no means the best board riding individuals in the world. just very good at doing tricks in the air launching off a pipe wall.

I don't know shit about snowboarding, but the fact that he can skate vert pretty fucking well also is kinda putting him up there as one of the best (if not the best) at boardsports... I'm not saying I wanna watch him skate vert by any means, but at least give me an example of someone who can do that also??? Comparing him to Youri, or any kiter is just plain silly.

I didn't mean anything bad about Youri. Just the jockey pumpin his tires. As for the debate this started, I dont see how you can knock Shaun White. He's pretty solid in the pipe and slopestyle.. look at his x games, olympic medals.. Just cus Red Bull and Oakley gave him opportunities most would only dream about shouldnt take away from his actual riding. Sure his status has made em a bit cocky, if I was paid as much as him I'd be walkin around fire breathin on bitches, pun intended.

do i need to respect shaun just because he is good? the fact that he is amazingly good at snowboarding doesnt change the fact that he is a dickhead. shaun doesnt care about the sport, he is just in it for the money. he is treating snowboarding like a real sport, and i will disrespect anyone who does that to a boardsport. if everyone starts doing that the sports that we all love so much will be ruined.

also, the private pipe example. i was just saying that shaun has gotten every oppurtunity in life to be better than snowboarding than everyone else. when he was younger his parents took him around USA to win contests and he got the opportunity to go and stay at windells all summer. and they really pushed him. his mom even changed the stance on his board stance to switch so that he would get better at riding switch.

name one other snowboarder that has gotten the oppurtunities that he has got. every other semi talented snowboarder would get as good at snowboarding as he is if they got the same oppurtunities.

u sure do know a lot about Shaun White for hating him so much.
