one day i'll get down there. if you're into rights try Guincho Portugal, fires regularly, but its a bit of a closeoutish beachbreak, main thing is that it's a pretty cheap trip depending where yer from.

july is best month for wind, every day on 5-9's thanks to guincho's thermal. theres always waves with the best surfing a couple hours north in peniche area. some good lagoons with kickers if u bring twintips. chicks and partying in the popular areas. direct flight air transat from toronto canada with over 100 lbs limit and free "kiteboard" allowances. shoots a pm if ya need more info.
