Me too. Only use fins for mega loop sessions. I'll never go back to fins. The DLX finless is the perfect board, so LFX is a comprimise for me, when conditions are really shitty. But I won't make that comprimise if I can't ride LFX finless...

I ride my influence with some 0.7 LF wakeboard fins and it is just perfect. I even hit the kicker on the cable with these fins without a problem. The LF 0.7 wakeboard fins cost around 15EUR a pair if I remember correct.

Again you can ride the LFX or influence finless no prob, it will be a lot of fun. But since you are getting it to cope with those crappy choppy days you will notice it will be harder to pop right. The LFX is flatter (no bottom channels) and softer than the DLX, so it will be more difficult to get a nice flick with in heavy chop. You may have to try some fins to compensate.

I will find out what works best, but no fins will be best.

I've ordered the board along with the new vantage bindings. Hopefully I will test it tomorrow back to back and then I can give you my feedback. Maybe others is thinking the same...

Tried LFX to day. Without fins and in really bad choppy conditions. It felt good and it was no problem riding without fins. I was really surprised how well it rides even though it was choppy as hell. Smooth ride and tracked really well. So I agree with some of you. It doesn't need fins at all :)

I like the DLX is much more, wouldnt trade the rocker or channels. Just buy a bigass kite for low wind days, I bought a 20 and a 18 m2 north rhino 04 for €50 each and love the combo of a big C and the DLX. The slower rocker line in combination with the square outline matches the big slow kite perfect. I get powered for tricks and can go upwind when others are only cruising got the 142 and i am 76kg. Before I had a LF Kaos for light wind days, but no need anymore...

But read my post again. It's not for light wind days. I have a third board for that. It's for crap days with winds going up and down every minut and heavy chop. And then add gusts to that. Basicaly the worst conditions you'll ever find.

DLX is my favourite too, but the slower rocker line doesn't work when we really really have crappy conditions.
