the kaos on boots is one of the scetchiest rides i've ever experienced. the combination of flat rocker and soft flexpattern guarantees you some impressive highsiders on noseheavy landings.

i rode it for one day and decided it's a strap-on board. i couldn't make it work for anything else but gassy conditions behind the reeds without jumping.

the lightwindabilities of it are great though.
but the twinskim offers the same lowend or even better.

sell it to someone light who loves strapped freestyle riding and buy a twinskim or a wakeskate that actually works behind a kite ;-)

I would also sell it and buy a wakestyleboard instead of - wouldnt be first time if that board snaps with bindings.

Alternative - Buy a pair of boots - LF or Ronix (if you ask me), test and see if you like it with boots, if not sell it and buy a 2010 DLX or similar (shouldnt cost you a lot that change) - If you ride really powered of stomp like a beast, I would find another board to begin with!

Just my two cents.

if you're learning the basics I would stick with the kaos because you will be able to get upwind easier and practice your moves more. If you're already riding hard get a different board.

totally disagree, while going to boots.. you have to learn how to get upwind with higher rocker board from day one.. else gets tricky moving from flat to a rocker+channels board.

Fuck KAOS, get DLX / FLX or some other wakestyle board

I have kaos. Forget about putting boots on that. The board has way way to much flex. You will bend the shit out of it on lendings. Also the lendings will be hard since you are bending it and making it flat, not to mention all the nose catching you get with that. Get the DLX or something stiff with rocker, and keep kaos for kiteloop and nukeing days when you cant practise unooked.

what size and year kaos do you have? 136x41.5 maybe? Still the landings will be very hard on your knees. :(

well you can still try it, and if doesn't work keep the boots and sell the board. It is a big flat flexy board, so your knees won't be graetful . :D
