Hi, Im from Guatemala and new in the sport, I want to become a professional kitesurfer, I know its everybody wish, but here in Guatemala are just about 10 people that practices the sport ( just like a hobby). The thing is that I cant get any advice in the process of becoming a pro, also here there is no competitions or tournaments . So I was thinking if you can help me somehow, anything you can help me will be very good like a place were its easier to get noticed ( Im willing to leave my country) or any help you can give to me would be great.

Thanks very much

1) leave your country
2) go somewhere hot and windy
3) buy a baggy tank top at the airport, that is stupidly big for ya!!
4) make a video that mostly features women walking on the beach and beer, (don't need to feature much riding but make sure you have your tank top on if you do!!)
5) get a twitter page and blog
6) make you occupation on your Facebook page pro kitesurfer....

YOUR DONE!! YOU MADE IT SON WELL DONE, =D>

dont leave, build your own scene, get all your friends into it, even if they shred your kites learning, just build a core scene of your own, guided by what inspires you, beachcomb and build features, sliders, kickers, be beyond cool with everyone you meet, get a girlfriend who will film you so YOU can see what you're doing and figure it out comparing yourself to videos of hadlow, kite every fucking day you can, blow off work, crosstrain (not like naish cross training - no pullups!!), enter ro sham in hood river, never ever ever ever ever fucking kite race, and you will be pro in my books.

damn im excited to ride those sick features you're going to build in guatemala already!!!

1 learn a danglepass and a kiteloop.
2 ride straps.
3 speak in an accent so that no one can understand you.
4 tell everyone how much pop your "kite" has.
5 make a vid of about 5 minutes with the intro 4:55 long.
